About Mary, Editor

Mary Jaracz Thanks for visiting our blog and coming here to learn more about Lindsay and I! I’m Mary Jaracz and my main jobs are being a stay at home mom to two super active little boys and I’m also a freelance graphic designer. In any spare time I have, I enjoy sewing, crafting, gardening, cooking, baking and looking through other blogs. As a kid I always enjoyed doing some sort of art related project. My parents bought me my first sewing machine in the late 80s or early 90s. It was a My Little Pony model. I now sew with a Janome 4120QDC (which I love). I’ve got an amazing husband who is also a graphic designer. We live in an old farmhouse style home built somewhere in the mid- to late-1800’s. When the mood strikes (or lightning, which happened in 2010) we work on the house either updating or totally gutting and re-doing one room at a time.

About Lindsay, Editor

Hi, I’m Lindsay Conner, an editor, writer and crafter based in Indianapolis. By day, I work as a writer, editor and crafter. In my freetime, I love to travel with my husband Matt, quilt or look at sewing blogs, and play with my loveable cat Murph. I’ve been crafting for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I saved my dollar bills for trips with my mom to Jo-Ann Fabrics. Because my mom has always shared my love for crafting, she bought me my first sewing machine, a Hello Kitty Janome. After college, I started sewing stuffed toys, quilts and custom creations for friends and family: some from patterns, others from scratch. Lindsay Sews I now sew on a Singer 7467, and when I’m not quilting I can be found making cards or sometimes even knitting. Confession: I’m slightly addicted to buying fabric, so I like to curb that by giving it away here or at my other blog, Lindsay Sews.
